This is The Mother of all Red-Light District Walking Tours – now back in its full-length, updated version.

We’ll gather at Aljunied MRT Station (next to Sichuan Chef) at 7pm sharp, and expect to finish by 9.30pm, maybe closer to 10pm – just in time to catch the train home.

With Uncle Chris as your guide, expect a no-holds-barred journey into one of Singapore’s most notorious neighbourhoods. The subject may be sensitive, even taboo, but here we approach it with honesty, wit, and just the right amount of cheek.

On this walk, we’ll explore the world of Geylang’s infamous lanes – from Lorong 12 to Lorong 18. Along the way, we’ll look at the contrasts between “cheap thrills” and “high-class scandals”, and the curious culture that surrounds them.

You’ll gain insights not only into the trade itself, but also into how it has shaped the social fabric of this district – past, present, and perhaps future.

This is more than a night-time stroll; it’s an eye-opening lesson in history, society, and human behaviour. For younger participants, it’s also a frank, educational introduction to a topic that parents may find awkward to talk about. For everyone else, it’s a rare chance to explore a side of Singapore that is usually kept in the shadows.
