Known affectionately as “Chap Pwek Koh” – the “18th Milestone” of Jurong—this charming spot was a lively hub where diners enjoyed simple yet delightful meals in an open-air setting, with the sea breeze adding to the experience. Sadly, the lunchtime crowds are now just a memory, as the village stands as a testament to a bygone era.
In stark contrast, the Tuas Industrial Estate is a thriving powerhouse of activity. With ongoing land reclamation and the establishment of new factories, Tuas has become a treasure trove for both large corporations and small businesses alike.
